Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, week one of tour is under way. Last night we played Boise, tonight it’s Bend. The boys are locked in and attitudes are positive- we’re lucky to be out in the world, doing what we get to do.

I needed this one. I don’t know if it’s the movement, the people, the boys, or the opportunity to serve, but I feel myself unwinding from the internal intensity I had been living in my head for the past month or so.

I miss my wife. And I miss our boy. Thank goodness we are able to FaceTime often. Everything, quite literally is reminding me of them all day long. It’s a blessing to have loved ones to miss. And I think they are getting closer to missing me!

Bend tonight, Portland tomorrow, Seattle on Friday and onward- a great week ahead of us and I’m hoping to keep cleaning up my internal dialogue and keep the positive momentum rolling.
