The color of your love
I could paint a picture the color of your love. I could tell a story comparing you to the stars. I’d recite the poetry describing how you shine just like the sun.
The color of your love
I could paint a picture
The color of your love
I could tell a story
Comparing you to the stars
And I’d recite the poetry
Describing how you shine just like the sun
I don’t think you need to hear it
But it comes from a feeling
Because everything started to unfold
It’s like god made you for me to hold
I never had a lot of plans til I met you
Now we schedule things we’d like to do
And I’m training like we’re running a marathon
I’m gonna take us to the finish line
And if we ever get a chance to start over
I’d start over, and do it all again
I don’t think you ever asked me but
I just need to confess
I’ve been dreaming of a house that we
Could build to be our nest
With a bed, a roof, and a solid foundation
A window that’s facing west
You gotta dream it to achieve it
But it start with believing
Because everything started to unfold
It’s like god made you for me to hold
I never had a lot of plans til I met you
Now we schedule things we’d like to do
And I’m training like we’re running a marathon
I’m gonna take us to the finish line
And if we ever get a chance to start over
I’d start over, and do it all again
Listen to the sounds of the pitter patter
Raindrops splatter scatter on our tin roof
There’s no need to be rushing now
Until these clouds have cleared
I wish I could bottle it up, this week, this month, this year- its in my heart
These days they are passing fast
I’ll try to hold them near
Because everything started to unfold
It’s like god made you for me to hold
I never had a lot of plans til I met you
Now we schedule things we’d like to do
And I’m training like we’re running a marathon
I’m gonna take us to the finish line
And if we ever get a chance to start over
I’d start over, and do it all again
Thanks for listening

Jungle rain patters on a tin roof rusting
In morning light the rooster crows
Coffee trails and avocados
Harvesting bananas from a tree that’s fallen
There’s a jaguar around that’s been building up quite a legend..
As of today there’s somewhere around 40 large animals that have been killed by the large cat. Mules, goats, sheep and cows. Just the other night he killed 3 of our neighbors full grown cows. They were kind enough to gift us 11 pounds of the beef they saved.
I heard that last week there was an encounter between the jaguar and 30 dogs- before the scrap was over the jaguar left 7 of the dogs dead.
Nature is savage.
A couple weeks ago I went on a big adventure, 4 miles down into the valley to check out a river I had never seen. We wanted to see if it could be a reasonable trek to take guests on. 8 miles round trip and the equivalent of 183 flights of stairs, it was an incredible journey. Tough!
And down near the river we came across fresh paw prints of the jaguar. It is indeed large and heavy.
Safe to say this trek isn’t for everyone. Though with the right group of adventurous athletes, I would love to share the magic.
I never saw more guacamaya in my life. In English they’re know as macaw like this one-
I’m not the greatest videographer but here’s what I captured:
After 8 years, there is still so much to discover here, I feel like I’m living the dream that I had as a little boy exploring the small woods behind our house growing up.
Thanks for reading friends-

Ps, here’s some of the meet we got from the cow that the jaguar killed.
