This is it, you said we’re done
So pack your bags and when the morning comes, go- without a kiss walk through the door, I don’t wanna see your face no more…
Well I tried
But didn’t like it
And I lost my appetite
And I’ve felt this way before
And I refuse to give it more
Time
This is not
What I expected
To be caught up
Inside your web and mess again
Your dirty room
Where you’re telling me lies
And I believed you for what now I say
Will be the last time
I don’t wanna speak
Fuck what ya think
Take anything
Just fucking leave
So what ya gonna say
This shit ain’t up for debate
Guess I’m a cold hearted bastard
This was all a mistake
Well I tried
But didn’t like it
And I lost my appetite
And I’ve felt this before
And I refuse to give it more
Time…
…Sour patch
Double bubble gum
Take me back where
we had some fun
You made me laugh
Then kicked my shin
Tried to blame it
On the dogs again

These days at the farm we’ve started taking down the structure that’s held up our solar water heater for the last 6 years, and rebuilding its new home. It probably should have been taken down 3 years ago, how it’s has lasted this long is a miracle.
I’ve been eyeing it for months watching it lean more and more, examining the decaying posts that the tank seemed be be hovering over at this point.
I thought it would be easier, I assumed an after draining the 300liter tank that it couldn’t be so heavy. So today, my dad and I along with a few other neighbors took on the task of lifting it off of the posts and bringing it down to the ground so that we could tear out the old structure and build it new.
I was wrong. It was heavy as fuck and god must have been looking out for us because it could have gone so much worse. I watched my friend Felipe’s life flash before my eyes as he was trapped beneath to glass solar panel cylinders while the rest of us struggled to keep it up and in reality we were all being crushed under the weight of it.
Turns out that the glass cylinders themselves also hold a crazy amount of water and so when we thought that we had drained it completely, there’s was still likely 100 liters of boiling water left inside of it.
Somehow Felipe managed to slide himself out and in the end we were able to successfully move the tank without anyone dying and without breaking it.
My dad and I spent the rest of the day removing the old structure and getting new post holes dug which required an unfortunate amount of removal of the old concrete and framing math which had me wishing I paid more attention to Mr. Mitchell in high school.
Tomorrow we set the new posts in concrete and finish framing in the supports and by Monday we’ll be looking for more neighbors to help us get the damn water tank back onto its stilts.
Takeaway- keep praising the good lord, and assume things are way heavier than you think.

Mmm that last line. Assume things are way than you think they are. Thanks for helping me not underestimate the tasks at hand.
Keep up the good work brother ❤️
